Chew on this: I may receive a small commission for affiliate links, but all products I “dig up” are ones I paw-thentically love!
Can you believe it’s already the end of November? For many of us, the next few weeks are some of the busiest of the year, full of decorating, shopping, and other preparations for the holidays.
While I love shopping, sometimes finding the right gift for the pets and pet parents on my list can be a bit ruff. After all, I want to give something that will bring them joy and make their lives a little better for the coming new year.
What about you? Are you shopping for a pet or pet parents in your life? If you are, I have some good news! I’ve dug up a few gifts to make your search easier.
In my opinion, the best gifts are either practical, heartfelt, or healthy. I recently appeared on the nationally-syndicated morning show, Daytime to share with you some of my top picks for pets and their parents this holiday season.
A Practical Gift
I love sharing my home with my pets, but it definitely adds a lot of cleaning to my routine! And it seems like no matter how much time I spend cleaning, I’m never sure that I’ve completely conquered that tell-tail pet smell.
That’s why I thought that this smart diffuser from Aera would make such a paw-some gift. That’s right, I said “smart diffuser”, but don’t let that scare you. It’s easy to operate using either your Amazon Alexa or a simple app on your smartphone. You can adjust scent levels to match the size of your room and even set up hourly and daily scent schedules.
The thing I love most about this diffuser is that its fragrances are pet-safe and veterinarian approved. Rather than try to mask odors with harsh cleaning chemicals, perfumed sprays, or candles that weren’t formulated with animal safety in mind, Aera uses safe, hypoallergenic fragrances and essential oils to neutralize even the most stubborn pet odors.
A Gift From the Heart
Anyone who has ever lost a pet knows all too well that their effect on our lives and in our hearts lasts forever.
Alma Blue Keepsakes specializes in high-end keepsake jewelry with a special pocket that can hold anything from cremated remains to a lock of fur or earth from a special site. Their jewelry is made from high-quality Sterling Silver for a look that’s classic and timeless, and many pieces can be engraved.
Last year, we lost our wonderful tortie cat, Turtle, and I miss her as much now as I did when the loss was more recent. When I met Nayla, the founder of Alma Blue, she gave me a beautiful keychain that I really treasure because it reminds me of Turtle every day.
If you know someone who has recently lost someone a pet or a loved one, a gift from Alma Blue can help them through the grieving process. Having something they can hold onto and wear provides a physical and emotional connection to their cherished memories.
The Gift of Better Health
