The Dirty Truth About Your Dog’s Poop
It never fails. I’m walking my dog Chilly and suddenly he comes to a screeching halt, nose to the ground, unwilling to budge. I don’t even have to look to know what it is: another dog’s poop. For some reason, he finds the “deposits” of other canines intensely interesting.
Personally, I find it interesting that some people don’t bother to pick up poop in the first place.
Now, I know this isn’t the most fun chore in the world, but it’s the right thing to do. So the next time you responsibly stoop to scoop, take a moment to learn from it.
Seriously!
Instead of grimacing, cock your head, as dogs often do when inquisitive, and learn from what you see. Believe it or not, poop is a reliable indicator of your dog’s health.
