Each year on September 11th, I find it hard to believe the horrific tragedy our country and thousands of innocent Americans endured.
I remember exactly where I was when I heard the news 12 years ago. I had just left the WTVT-FOX 13 studios in Tampa. Every Tuesday I appeared on the Bay area morning show to promote pet adoption. I left the studio with an adoptable dog from the SPCA Tampa Bay, at 8:30 a.m. I got in the car, drove back to the animal shelter and when I arrived, the entire staff was huddled around the television, disbelief on their faces.
We should never forget what happened that day and we must educate those 17 and under (kids who don’t have a first hand memory themselves) to remember those we lost that day, the heroes and the survivors.
Where were you that day when you heard the horrible news?
