Sharon L. Campbell, DVM, MS, DACVIM

Dr. Campbell received her DVM degree from University of Wisconsin and completed a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine and a Master’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine at Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine.

After completing her residency, Dr Campbell was a Clinical Instructor at the University of Tennessee for 2 years. She then worked at a private referral hospital in Massachusetts for 5 years before joining Zoetis (Pfizer Animal Health).

Since joining Zoetis, Dr. Campbell has had the opportunity to work in many areas including Technical Services, Veterinary Medicine Research and Development, Regulatory Affairs (Pharmacovigilance) and Specialty Hospital Services. She is currently the Medical Lead for the Pain, Anesthesia, Sedation, and Behavior portfolio of drugs and Anti-infectives. She has been involved with the development and/or launch of several Zoetis drugs including Convenia, Cerenia, Sileo, and Simbadol.

Dr. Campbell became Fear Free Certified in 2016 and is on the Fear Free Advisory Board. She is also on the Board of Directors for IVAPM.

Dr. Campbell is passionate about learning and teaching and enjoys yoga, walking, gardening and making sure Siegfried the cat is happy and healthy.
